Trillium Staffing is seeking a Test Technician for one of our clients located in Orangeville, ON. Our client is a world class manufacturer of connectivity solutions.

What You’ll do as a Test Technician:

• Creates and revises test plans, training instructions, supplementary drawings, process procedures and test fixtures
• First piece build test plan implementation
• In-time delivery of all test plans and fixtures set up
• Provide technical assistance in production test process when required
• Resolve technical issues in conjunction with the Tech department with new build test plans
• Calibration of test equipment
• Other duties as required

Qualifications required for the Test Technician:

• Must have Secondary School diploma
• Excellent Communication skills in English
• Must be mechanically inclined
• Must have excellent computer skills and knowledge
• Must be able to work independently
• Must have knowledge and/or experience of manufacturing test processes and procedures
• Must be able to work 50% of the time at a desk designing tests and 50% of the time on the floor building test jigs
• Must have hands on experience using various hand tools and power tools
• Must have a clear criminal background and proof of COVID-19 vaccinations
