Driver/Movers Job at Alberta Strong Movers
As a mover/driver for the company you will be tasked with going to houses and loading a truck with their furniture, boxes, misc. etc and bringing it to another location with a partner. Usually another house or a storage unit.
As a swamper (basic mover) all you need to do is be ontime and move stuff. The starting wage for swamper is 19/hr and can go up to 21/hr. Responsibilities include guiding the driver backwards when asked and being ontime when asked.
As a Driver your responsibilities are much greater. You'll need a minimum of class 5 license and the ability to LEARN to drive 5-ton vehicle and fill out paperwork for the company including log books and customer invoices. No experience required. You will start out at 23/hr and can go up to 30/hr if you prove competent.

Part-time hours: 10-40 per week
Salary: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
