An international machinery manufacturer that supplies their machines to the Automotive / Automotive Parts manufacturer is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist / Programmer. It is a permanent full-time position with full benefits.

Responsibilities for CNC Machinist / Programmer:

• Attentive operation of Mill/Turn, CNC Lathes and 3 to 5 axis CNC Mills
• Conduct basic tool maintenance
• Produce precise and consistent parts
• Compute dimensions and tolerances, measure and lay out work pieces
• Report any damaged tools or machine incidents immediately
• Report any material shortages
• Responsible for detailed completion of all required paperwork
• Maintain a positive work ethic, supporting other members of the manufacturing team when possible

Requirements for CNC Machinist / Programmer:

• Must be able to setup and operate CNC’s, and have current experience with G-code
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Programmer/Machinist
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tooling and metalworking
• A Red Seal ticket is not required, but would be a plus
• Must be able to read production drawings
• Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
• Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus
