We are looking for an energic and sales focus leader to join us in the role of Channel Manager, overseeing a specific sales channel of our company. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the Channel Manager is responsible for Business to Business sales that have the potential to have a national significance to the company. The Channel Manager also takes responsibility for continuous improvement initiatives that help Hercules transform customer satisfaction into customer loyalty.

The organization has a strong inventory position coupled with a very strong procurement team and deep relationships with manufacturers. This position has the potential to have a national significance on the company.

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for B2B sales
  • Collaborates to grow sales with new and existing customers
  • Integrates financial and planning activities to fund operations and increase profitability
  • Accountable to ensure product quality is met based on company and customer expectations
  • Fosters an engaging and productive work environment

Qualifications, knowledge, and experience

  • A university or college degree preferably in Business Management or a related discipline, or a combination of a high school diploma and relevant work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of senior sales experience
  • Experience with B2B sales
  • Ability to be a self-starter
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Strong computer skills
  • Must hold a valid driver’s license and be insurable
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada
