Carpenter Assistant Job at Confidential
Looking for a carpenters assistant or construction laborer with basic carpentry skills (2+ years of experience) for a project in Kemptville.
- Performing other tasks related to carpentry work such as cutting wood to specific measurements using power tools such as saws and drill presses
- Installing windows, doors, and other wood products using tools such as hammers, saws, drills, nails, and screws
- Scraping, sanding, staining, and finishing wood surfaces to prepare for painting or other finishing treatments
- Cleaning work sites, equipment, and materials to ensure safety and efficiency
- Measuring and marking materials to indicate where cuts will be made or where other actions will occur
- Installing interior or exterior doors, or other components such as cabinets or paneling
- Helping contractors with framing of new structures or repairing existing ones
- Installing cabinets, countertops, molding, and other wood products in residential and commercial settings
- Installing flooring such as tile, hardwood or laminate materials
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
