About the Position
The right candidate will have a team mindset, with great communication skills and empathy for others. Customers are the soul of our business, our team members are the heart; as a service advisor you are the first person our customers meet, setting the tone for their experience. Every day you will work with a variety of customers with many different mechanical concerns. The right candidate must be courteous, trustworthy, honest, eager to help, and empathetic.
You should have:
- Basic computer skills;
- Experience selling tires and mechanical;
- Experience working with the public;
- Mechanical aptitude or ability to learn about mechanical, we are willing to train, but you should have an interest or this won’t work out for anyone;
- excellent communication skills;
- A positive attitude is a must!;
- Tire/mechanical experience is an asset, but not essential.
The Fountain Tire team supports within store promotion. If you’re interested in expanding your skillset there’s always the potential to move to service advising, sales, or management.

The right candidate will:

- Be hardworking - willing to put in extra hours when needed, especially during busy seasons. We work hard and play hard.
- Be organized - people rely on us to ensure that their vehicles are running smoothly and repaired in a timely manner. We don't want to miss anything.
- Be people smart – be able to empathize with others, recognize and celebrate the best in others. Be able to relate with our customers and team (put yourself in their place).
· HAVE A VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE – NON-NEGOTIABLE
· Be willing to work flexible days – it’s 40 hours/week (during busy season there’s Overtime).
· Able to consistently lift 50+lbs
