Position Overview:
Join the Finning family! Finning Canada is seeking a Yard / Warehouse Person to join our team supporting our client in Mildred Lake. As the Yard Person you are responsible for assisting with the day to day yard duties for the Branch.
Our Incentives Include:
- This position supports our client site located at Mildred Lake on a 14 x 14 Continuous Shift rotation
- $43.19 / hour Starting Wage
- 12% Regional Wage Allowance
- $300 / year Boot Allowance
- Comprehensive Benefits
- Housing Allowance (available for candidates residing in Fort McMurray)
- Camp available for non-local candidates
The successful candidate will follow approved shipping and receiving protocols to safely load/unload customer parts and components and accurately handle incoming and outgoing paperwork.

**Hours and shift schedule may be subject to change to meet customer and/or Finning (Canada) requirements. Please note that any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the Terms & Conditions of the current Collective Agreement**
Qualifications:

High School graduate
-
Due to physical nature of the work, a requirement of the job is to be considered fit for work
-
Minimum three months of operating experience of rough terrain forklift, counterbalance forklift, compact construction equipment, large construction equipmentFamiliarity with heavy equipment or a similar industry would be considered an asset

Team player with a keen attention to detail

Experience with heavy equipment or a similar industry would be considered an asset

Excellent interpersonal skills with effective verbal and written communication skills
