Paradise Entertainment Corp is looking to expand its team by adding a wine professional to our roster! We’re looking for an individual who is passionate about wine and is comfortable with speaking to small groups of consumers about it.

This role will be focused in our retail space, Blue Door Wine Shop. However preference will be given to candidates who would also be willing to work as a part-time Sommelier at Osteria Rialto.

Blue Door is primarily a wine shop with a small tasting bar and 8 person tasting table. Sommelier certification or WSET training is preferred but not essential. Ultimately, the chosen candidate will be comfortable communicating to customers about wine, recommendations, pairings, and wine production methods as needed.

We have a selection of over 220 wines, a weekly rotating by the glass program, as well as a lunch/dinner menu on offer from our sister restaurant, Cafe Paradise.

Although the wage is $17/hour, after 2 week of training, you will begin earning gratuities which can add between $5-20+ to your hourly wage. Gratuities from our guests is completely voluntary.

As a nearly 1 year old outlet we are looking for a candidate who is flexible, willing to learn new things and someone with an entrepreneurial spirit. After training, shifts are generally worked alone and so the ideal candidate will be able work independently and take ownership of the space as the face of business on the day they're working.

• POS system (Silverware)
• Food Safety Experience
