Position: Transportation Sales & Logistics – Positions for Salary, Commission or blend of both available based on experience

Canada and the United States – including truckload, mixed load, dedicated services, project management and specialized services. Mullen Trucking has been in business since 1949 and is part of the Mullen Group of Companies.

Responsibilities:

The duties listed below while not complete, are intended to demonstrate the scope of this position.

• Working with both the Sales Manager and the Operations Manager source and book LTL, Long Haul, Heavy Haul freight with both existing and new customers
• Coordinate shipments to be moved with Qualified Subcontractors
• Excellent understanding of all scopes of transportation modes up to including multi axle configurations; proficient understanding of cross border requirements
• Provide quotations for various scopes of freight movement; facilitate full cycle from quoting to approval for invoicing

Requirements:

• Experience in transportation sales and logistics
• Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, working with a diverse group of internal and external customers
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient computer skills, primarily Microsoft Office; workspace provided in Aldersyde location
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Post-secondary, project management, marketing certification an asset
• Some in office training will be required. Personal vehicle required, there is no access to public transportation to our location
