Job summary:

Solotech's success is largely based on the expertise and know-how of its employees. In this context, you will have the mandate to support our employees in the development of their competencies and to evolve the training offer for various professions in an international environment.

In this role, you will be the leader of a team of professionals who are committed to the engagement and skills development of Solotech employees. In partnership with the operations, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of training paths, while ensuring the evolution of the entire learning offer of the Solotech Academy.

You are passionate about providing employees with learning and career/profession development opportunities. You also possess superior skills in communication, management of organizational development programs and training pathways.

Your day will look like this:

• Create and execute strategies and programs fostering employees’ engagement and development
• Develop the positioning and the brand image of the Solotech Academy both internally and in the industry
• Manage and mobilize a team of talent development specialists
• In partnership with operations, assess and prioritize organizational and individual development needs, and foster the contribution of operations experts in the design and implementation of technical pathways
• Design programs and learning paths for the Solotech Academy
• Implement various innovative learning methods across the company (e.g., coaching, job shadowing, online training), while respecting the culture and the operation reality
• Assess the success of development plans and help employees making the most of learning opportunities
• Support managers in the development of their team members throughout their career path
• Establish and produce the required KPIs and management reports, as well as manage agreements with suppliers
• Lead various initiatives fostering engagement and talent development
• Ensure that various government programs and grants for talent development are leveraged

Your profile:

• Proven experience of at least 8 years as a head of training and talent development
• Experience in team management and development
• Ability to build strong partnerships with operations and various stakeholders
• Recognized experience in execution and operational delivery (project management, budgeting, etc.)
• Knowledge of best practices, and innovative and effective learning methodologies
• Familiar with e-learning platforms and practices
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Creativity and innovation, as well as business acumen
• Bachelor's or master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or Related Field
• Bilingualism (English/French) both orally and in writing
