JOB FUNCTION:

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for attracting, sourcing and efficiently hiring the best-qualified candidates who embrace the Mission, Vision, and Values of SyBridge Technologies Inc.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will partner with plant leadership and other members of the Human Resource team to develop and implement both traditional and creative recruitment strategies to attract top talent to assure staffing needs are achieved.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

On a daily basis:

• Responsible for all facets of the recruitment process with a focus on skilled labor and including, but not limited to sourcing, hiring, and onboarding new hires.
• Consult and lead meetings with hiring managers to determine needs, review position requirements, develop recruitment strategies, source candidates, review resumes, and conduct interviews to ensure all positions are filled within established metrics.
• Strategize with leadership teams on driving recruitment actions to support our culture of inclusion and diversity.
• Build strong working relationships and collaborate with managers and supervisors to develop proactive recruitment plans that meet current and projected staffing needs, with particular emphasis on difficult-to-fill positions.
• Champion recruitment events promoting employment at SyBridge Technologies: job fairs, virtual career fairs, community organization partnerships, college recruiting, and other creative recruiting events.
• Analyze recruiting metrics and strategies, in order to recommend changes as appropriate, create a more streamlined and efficient hiring process and reduce overall time to fill, and improve quality of hire. Continuously explore alternative staffing, sourcing, and selection techniques to align with industry best practices.
• Lead Recruitment-related projects and initiatives, as assigned with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Work collaboratively with the HR team across all locations.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Uphold the highest standard of internal and external customer service at all times while maintaining confidentiality.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION

• Post-secondary degree diploma in Business, Human Resources, or related discipline
• CHRP is considered an asset.

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:

• Human resources experience in high-volume recruitment and selection-related activities.
• Previous experience in the Mold industry an asset.

• Knowledge of the principles and practices of human resources management including recruitment and selection concepts and practices.
• Knowledge of and experience with HRIS and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
• Strong team player with a positive attitude that embraces change and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Experience working with word processing, database, and spreadsheet software and advanced MS Office skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer orientation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
• Exceptional attention to detail with an ability to effectively balance multiple priorities and perform under pressure.
