Residential Aide Placement Service (RAPS) Spruce Grove, AB
RAPS is Seeking a part time support worker to Assist a young female with a cognitive impairment (E5)
Location: Spruce Grove
Days: 2-3 days a week (Flexible)
Hours: 12 hours weekly (Flexible with start times)
Job Description: Duties include but are not limited to: community engagement, support on outings, encouragement of independent life skills (cooking, planning, cleaning etc.), modeling and mentoring of healthy boundaries, planning, sourcing and participation in activities (Swimming, biking, bowling Etc..), supervision and companionship
Note: there is a small dog in the home.
Qualifications and Other Requirements: the successful candidate with have an updated criminal record check with the vulnerable sector check, a driver’s license and vehicle for client transport, experience as a support worker for individuals with developmental disabilities and be a non- smoker, candidate must be vaccinated against Covid-19.
Rate of Pay: $20.24/ hour
