Established in 1989, Euro-Can Marble and Granite Ltd. is a stone fabrication and installation company specializing in countertop production for the custom residential, multi-family residential, and commercial markets. During our thirty years, we have worked on an extensive variety of unique and exciting projects, including multi-million-dollar homes, cruise ships, hotels, restaurants, office towers and over forty residential towers. To maintain the highest quality and to provide timely service, we pride ourselves with producing everything in-house and installing our product with our own installation teams. We have been growing at a hectic pace and have now moved to a new 13,000 sq ft facility.

About The Role:
Stone sawyers require a keen eye for detail and design to ensure the highest quality product is being manufactured. The candidate must have a good knowledge of bridge saw and CNC operations to maintain the high quality of production as well as daily maintenance routines.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret drawings and designs accurately and enters dimensional information into saw controllers
• Sets up equipment with the correct saw blades for the type of material to be cut
• Runs saw equipment efficiently
• Cuts material accurately to customer specifications
• Ensures quality product moves downstream to the next station, leaving little to no corrective action or rework
• Performs daily preventive maintenance
• Ensures a clean and safe work area

Job Requirements:

• 3-5 years’ experience running CNC and/or saw equipment
• Work experience in a stone or tile production environment would be an asset
• Attention to detail and aesthetics is required
• Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
• Able to perform physically strenuous activity
• Able to work with colleagues as well as independently
