Excalibur Security is seeking security professionals for some of the premier events coming to Prince George this summer. We are seeking personnel of all ranges of experience, and offer premium training and opportunities outside of Prince George for those who have availability.

We offer flexible scheduling and above average compensation for PROFESSIONAL team members. Premiums offered for First Aid and other endorsements.

We are continually seeking to hire experienced Event Security Guards with a valid BC security license to join our quality team on a full and part time basis. (Females operatives are always in demand and highly encouraged to apply).

Our ideal candidate will possess the following:

• Excellent verbal written communication and (Crown Counsel) report writing skills
• Have a good understanding of the Criminal Code of Canada, and applying it during apprehensions
• Posses demonstrated superior Professionalism and Customer Service experience
• Must be able to learn and follow internal policies and procedures
• Must have keen eye for detail
• Must be able to work in a fast pace constantly changing environment
• Assertive Motivated, Disciplined Calm and Respectful demeanor
• 1-year in the Security / LPO industry and experience preventing theft of store merchandise
• Cognitive skills and apprehension techniques is preferred as is experience making legal arrests
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Must be reliable and available for daytime, evening, and weekend shifts

Qualifications / Skills

· A Valid Basic Security Training (BST) license is mandatory

· Having a working Phone with data plan

· Advanced Security Training (AST) is an asset

· Past work experience in the Loss Prevention field

· Past work experience in the Security Industry

· Recognized First Aid and CPR Certificate considered an asset

· Flexible availability, preference given to those available on weekends
