About the Position:

We are in growth mode and need to hire curious, productive, technically proficient, smart, initiative-taking team players to join our team. This role reports to the VP of Engineering and will be responsible for in-depth knowledge of web application development using JavaScript, PHP/Python, PostgreSQL,, AngularJS, HTML, and CSS.

This is a hybrid role (3 days in the office) that will require technical aptitude, communications skills, being someone that gets excited about complex technical problems, and bringing new features to life quickly to assist with new projects.

Principal Responsibilities:

As a Software Engineer Developer (Full Stack), your duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Comfortable with agile/scrum development methodology to build scalable, distributed web applications using the defined technology stack.
• Experience working in a DEV/OPS team
• Experience in JavaScript is essential
• Experience with writing unit tests and demonstrated understanding of GIT workflows, web services, 3rd party API integrations & payment gateways.
• Should have clear logics with analytical, debugging, and tracing skills.
• Effective in writing quality and high-performing code that leverages and creates reusable components, well-versed with clean code principles (SOLID, DRY).
• Ability to troubleshoot client issues and resolving them in a timely manner
• Work with other web developers and testers in building high-quality web products and perform code reviews of team member's code and provided suggestions and alternatives.
• Meet with the leads and project managers to understand project requirements, scope, and timelines to ensure on- time deliveries.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, solid communication, collaboration skills, with a strong teamwork ethic.
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Help and mentor the team members.
• Ability to work non-standard hours, weekends, and on-call as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Combination of Degree and Experience: 4 years of software development experience
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Javascript
• Demonstrated experience in PHP/Python, PostgreSQL, AngularJS, HTML, and CSS

Preferred Skills:

• Not Required but preferred bachelor’s degree or education in engineering, computer science, or another technical field
• Experience with PowerShell scripting, Windows scripting
