Slitter Operator
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for operation of machines/equipment (slitting operations)
- Quality control and troubleshooting
- Basic housekeeping
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Physically coordinated and able to stand for long periods of time
- Experience with handheld measuring equipment
- Detail oriented with good math and computer skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with continuous processes
- Forklift license/experience
Work Hours
- Temporary to permanent, fulltime position
- 12 hr continental day/night shift, with 4-week turnaround - 84 hrs biweekly
- Averaging agreements in place
- Opportunity for OT
Rate of Pay & Compensation
- Based on skills, abilities, experience, etc., the rate ranges from $18.24 - $22.00 per hour
