Requirements:
- 3-5 years experience in a shop setting, with a preference for management
- SAP Production knowledge & trade certification is an asset
- A Management style that is process orientated and people focused
Personal attributes:
- Well-organized with great attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to mentor and lead team towards a common goal
- Ability to implement comprehensive shop & quality system processes
- Comprehensive knowledge of shop processes both manufacturing and repair
- A background of leading continuous improvement in a shop environment
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Development, effectiveness & efficiency of the day-to-day operations of the shop facility
- Operations include manufacturing, repair services, field services and assembly
- Promote and actively lead safety program
- Quality Control and to ensure corporate and customer quality standards are upheld
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of shop floor and office employees
- Review orders for profitability
- Primary technical contact for customers regarding shop services
