The Senior Financial Analyst will be a crucial finance team member that will help drive performance within the company.
Responsibilities
The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible to:
- Manage the period end close, including account reconciliations, journal entry review & posting and the associated analysis.
- Prepare period-end financial reporting packages on a consolidated basis.
- Account for & reconcile costs and inventory accounts, including analysis and reconciliation to quarterly physical counts.
- Balance sheet reconciliation and investigate variances.
- Examine all financial statements & provide a detailed explanation of changes vs. budget and prior year
- Prepare, consolidate, and analyze monthly management reporting packages and presentations.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the business & key decision makers.
- Bachelor’s degree coupled with an accounting designation CPA (CA, CGA, CMA)
- 3+ years prior progressively relevant experience with significant preference for those who has exposure to large complex environments
- Have a "take charge" attitude and can manage multiple tasks at any given time
- Collaborative and supportive with a passion for work, a cheerful outlook, and a true collaborator
- Clear communicator with the ability to speak and write persuasively
- Must possess advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel with the proven ability to manipulate substantial amounts of data.
- $70,000-85,000 base
