Belmont Farm Supply Inc. is one of the largest farm input suppliers in Southwestern Ontario, and a member of the Agromart Group. We provide progressive farmers with all of their crop input needs from planting through to harvest, including fertilizer, seeds and chemicals. We have a state-of-the art fertilizer blending facility built in 2019, from which we can ship custom blends in minutes. Our seed warehouse holds a full line of corn, soybean and forage seeds, including bulk handling and treatment. Our services include crop plans with soil sampling and fertility recommendations; custom application of fertilizers and pesticides; bulk seed treatment and shipment; and crop scouting and pesticide timing.

We have seasonal positions (from mid-April to August) available for 2023. These are particularly suited for college or university students. Agricultural experience is helpful, a “G” license is required, and the right attitude is appreciated. The successful applicant will demonstrate good organizational, time management, communications and customer service skills. We have a required orientation session and some on-line safety courses that must be successfully completed prior to starting work.

Duties include:

• Assisting in shipping and receiving bulk fertilizer, seed and chemical products
• Deliveries to farm customers as required
• Interacting with customers in a professional manner
• Maintaining a neat and tidy workplace
• Other tasks as assigned

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 2-3 months
Part-time hours: 40-55 per week

Salary: $18.50-$21.50 per hour
