Job description
Reporting to: Production Supervisor
Wage: $15.50/hour
Shift: 7 am – 4 pm (may be required to extend during peak season)
Number of openings: 1
Position overview
The Sanitation staff will be responsible for daily tasks of the cleaning schedule.
Key Responsibilities
The Sanitation duties include, but are not limited to:
1. Perform basic sanitation duties to maintain a clean and safe environment (clean, mop, sweep, and other general duties)
2. Works safely and must be aware of surroundings.
3. Accurate recording of sanitation data - complete daily/weekly sanitation checklist
4. Removal of production garbage and debris.
5. Performs specialized cleaning duties as needed.
6. Sanitizes and scrubs machines, tables, counters, trash containers, component bins and conveyors.
7. Mops and scrubs floors, doors, walls, and ceilings.
8. Gathers and removes trash from all production areas.
9. Compact cardboard and trash as needed.
10. Cleans warehouse, washrooms, and production area.
11. Able to efficiently use the steam machine – Training will be provided
12. Other duties assigned as required
Special Conditions:
1. Safety requirements on site, protective clothing, and safety glasses.
