We are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly staff member to join the team at one of our corporate stores in Kelowna, at the Lake Country (Coopers Mall) location.
The position is a permanent full-time position that includes a variety of week day and evening shifts, as well as weekend shifts. At this time, we are seeking only applicants available for full-time hours (32-40 hours weekly).
The hours at our Lake Country (Coopers Mall) location are 9:00 am to 7:00 pm Monday through Saturday, and 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Sundays, shifts generally fall within these hours with the exception of early morning stock shifts which can start as early as 7:00 am.
The ideal candidate will be a quick learner, customer oriented, with a passion to work as part of a fun team. Duties and essential job functions include the following YDSWM work processes to receive, open and unpack inventory shipments, stock merchandise, build merchandise displays, operate a cash register, dust and mop store floors, along with other cleaning and shelf facing activities when necessary.
Knowledge requirements, skills and/or abilities:
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Ability to lift boxes from 20 to 45 lbs
- Comfortable with use of ladders on sales floor and stock room
