Sales Representative - Headquarters in Laval, Quebec

Responsibilities:

This is primarily an inside sales position that will work out of Laval, Quebec and include some travel limited within Canada and the US. This position will extend our internal sales and technical application capabilities to support our growth initiatives. We are looking for a dynamic and self-motivated individual who is able to learn the technical aspects of our products, markets and application we serve.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

▪ Provides technical support and application guidance

▪ Prepares formal quotations and processes them in accordance with our internal systems
▪ Processes orders received from faxes or e-mails
▪ Follows up on all quoted opportunities
▪ Confirms account number, part number & descriptions
▪ Communication to customer on availability, open orders, and ship dates
▪ Confirms pricing & availability
▪ Answer customer inquiries, phones or emails as assigned and meets expectations as set by supervisor
▪ Supports administrative duties as required to fulfill our internal processes
▪ Prioritize projects/responsibilities and other duties as assigned
▪ Generate sales from new and existing customers within all Industries
▪ Develop a deep understanding of the Industry in all facets becoming the Industry Expert that other can leverage
▪ Assist in exploring new market opportunities within Industry focus
▪ Provide Industry updates in weekly sales, monthly and quarterly meetings
▪ Communicate changes to website to Sales Leadership, Rachel and Frank
▪ Assist the BDL in maintaining the accuracy of our industry coding for Industry focus

Requirements

▪ Associates degree; and one to three plus years sales/business development experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

▪ Fluent in English and French in both verbal and written
▪ 1-3 years’ industrial experience of direct selling
▪ Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
▪ Sales and account management experience preferred
▪ Industry knowledge/experience preferred
▪ Proven ability to achieve sales goals
▪ Willingness to travel, both locally and regionally

Salary: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
