THE OPPORTUNITY
Slegg Building Materials is currently seeking Full and Part-Time Replenishment Team Members with flexible shifts available between Monday and Saturday.
THE LOCATION - Sidney
Located in the industrial area of Sidney, close to the Victoria International Airport, you will find our oldest branch with many long-term employees including Jason Balderston, General Manager, who has been at this location for over 20 years. This location prides itself on being customer service oriented with friendly and outgoing staff who work hard and have fun doing so. THE RESPONSIBILITIES
Including but not limited to the following:

• Act as an ambassador of the company with all employees and customers
• Maintain an emphasis on a safety culture, customer service, and efficiency as top priorities
• Responsible for replenishment of merchandise on the sales floor
• Assist in the stocking of incoming truck freight to the stock room
• Put away and locate all incoming shipments
• Maintain product displays on selling floor
• Position will be working inside and outside
• Help with vendor resets
• Assist in keeping product signage/pricing accurate
• General housekeeping duties and facility maintenance
• Other duties as assigned by management

THE REQUIREMENTS

• Flexible and available to work evenings and weekends
• Superior customer service skills
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as team
• Perform repetitive lifting
• Forklift/scissor lift experience is an asset
• Physical requirements include:
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
• Standing for long periods of time
• Pulling, pushing, bending and torso twisting movements with weight

• A positive can do attitude is essential!
