The Quality Assurance Analyst is a corner stone of our development process and as such the role is a technical “Developer in Test” with focus on designing automated functional/regression tests for a complex multi-component system.
The position will include, but will not be limited to the following responsibilities:
- Create and maintain automated tests scripts using existing framework.
- Able to work within aggressive time schedules for various types of testing (either manual and automated): usability, functional, regression & performance.
- Identify and document comprehensive test cases for multi-component systems from design documentation to ensure the software requirements are met, and working with Business Analysts, Developers & other project stakeholders.
- Effectively document software defects.
- Responsible to troubleshoot and verify software defects logged internally and externally and associated fixes.
- Required to collaborate with developers and Quality Assurance Analysts to ensure the deliverable meet testing requirements and coverage.
Position Requirements:
The Quality Assurance Analyst is a self-motivated, highly organized and disciplined individual who will have the following skills and experience:
- 3+ years’ software testing experience
- In-depth experience with .Net and Angular test automation scripting – Selenium WebDriver and Protractor/Jasmine.
- Experience with SOAP Web Service and performance testing.
- Ability to deliver quality documentation & reports – status reports, test plans, test cases, bug tracking reports, risk assessment & root cause analysis reports when needed
- Experience working with SQL databases.
- Experience with Visual Studio Online and TestRail is considered an asset.
