We are currently looking for a Project Engineer to join our growing team!
Reporting to the Western Canada Engineering Manager, the Project Engineer is primarily responsible for the management of capital projects, from conception to commissioning, design, authorization requests planning, cost monitoring, interface and collaboration of operations and execution of projects related to budget and planning.

Main Responsibilities
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO :
- Perform and document safety observations and hazard assessments
- Prepare, plan and manage annual capital projects
- Project management of capital projects
- Project performance management
- Monitoring and control of performance indicators
- Preparation of Gantt charts for project planning and scheduling
- Review equipment design, resolve mechanical issues
- Identify return on investment opportunities
- Application of codes, standards and regulatory compliance specifications
- Manage plant technical records
- Provide monthly valuation forecasts
- Prepare weekly cost updates
Qualifications and Experiences Required
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO JOIN THE TEAM :
- Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, P. Eng
- 5 years in a similar position
- Certification in PMP (an asset)
- English language proficiency (oral and written)
- Experience with engineering drawing software such as Autocad and preparation of GANTT charts for project planning and execution
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and MS Project
