We are currently looking to welcome a new Production Team Member at our Beamsville location. At Fleming Chicks we produce and ship day-old broiler chicks.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
· Working on an agricultural line handling chick and/or eggs
· Transferring eggs from incubators to hatchers
· Repetitive bending, lifting and turning
· Must be able to lift minimum 50lbs and able to work in a warm and humid environment
· Any other duties as needed
Shifts/days vary depending on the job that needs to be completed and could include Saturdays. Start times may vary between 5:30 am and 11 am.
The Production Team Member position starts at $17.50 dollars an hour with a performance-based wage increase to $18.50 per hour after 6 months of employment. A premium is available when working the Transfer shift. We also offer full benefits starting at 3 months of employment and overtime paid after 44 hours of work. RSP benefit plan starts after 1 year.
