The UI/UX Designer has experience working in agile teams, with developers, Test Engineers, and Product Managers. They are able to make deliberate design decisions and to translate any given user-experience journey into a smooth and intuitive interaction.

This is a customer facing role

Responsibilities and Duties (In order of Importance):

• Collaborate with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience

• Design features for enterprise web applications

• Work with partners and stakeholders in an agile environment to support the development and productization of design ideas; you will be embedded on an agile product team of which you will be an integral part

• Create intuitive, optimized, and brand-consistent web experiences leveraging an existing UI Design System

• Participate in strategic visual design and will bring design concepts to life

• Generate low and high-fidelity concept mock-ups to solve identified user needs

• Work with partners and stakeholders in an agile environment to support the development and productization of design ideas

• Bridging the gap between engineers and UX is a key part of this role

• Communicate with clients to understand their business goals and objectives

• Test new ideas before implementing

• Conduct an ongoing user research

Education & Experience:

• Degree or Diploma in Communication Design, Graphic Design, Web Design, Information Design, Interaction Design, or related field

• A link to your online portfolio in your resume. Your application will not be considered without a portfolio

• 4-6 years of experience in designing and prototyping for web applications; ideally in complex data, collaboration, workflow, and document management products for enterprise users

• Experience in quickly building and iterating on interactive prototypes to validate designs

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Technologies:

• Demonstrated intuitive and engaging UI design with simple clean style and a pixel-level attention to detail via a portfolio

• Demonstrated fluency with Sketch[5], Figma and Adobe Creative suite or alternative system

• Experience with HTML 5, CSS3, and JavaScript with the ability to troubleshoot and guide developers if required

• Familiarity with Agile and Lean UX methodologies

• Excellent presentation skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Understanding customer requirements
