This is a remote position.

Our User Experience group is expanding and looking for an experienced, innovative UI Designer for Web Applications! The ideal candidate will have experience working in agile teams, with developers, UX Designers and Product Owners. You will be able to make deliberate design decisions and to translate any given user-experience journey into a smooth and intuitive interaction.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Collaborating with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience.
• This role will be responsible for designing features for enterprise web applications.
• Work with partners and stakeholders in an agile environment to support the development and productization of design ideas; you will be embedded on an agile product team of which you will be an integral part.
• You will create intuitive, optimized, and brand-consistent web experiences leveraging an existing UI Design System
• You will participate in strategic visual design and will bring design concepts to life with precision in CSS.
• Generate low and mid-fidelity concept mock-ups to solve identified user needs.
• Work with partners and stakeholders in an agile environment to support the development and productization of design ideas.
• Bridging the gap between engineers and UX is a key part of your role.

Qualifications

• A link to your online portfolio in your resume. Your application will not be considered without a portfolio.
• 5+ years of experience in designing and prototyping for web applications; ideally in complex data, collaboration, workflow, and document management products for enterprise users.

Degree or Diploma in Communication Design, Graphic Design, Web Design, Information Design, Interaction Design, or related field.

• Ability to quickly and iteratively build interactive prototypes to validate designs.

Demonstrated intuitive and engaging UI design with simple clean style and a pixel-level attention to detail via a portfolio.

• Demonstrated fluency with Sketch and Adobe Creative suite or alternative system.
• Experience with HTML 5, CSS3, and JavaScript with the ability to troubleshoot and guide developers if required.
• Familiarity with Agile and Lean UX methodologies.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
