Pharmacist Job at Lakeview Pharmacy
We are seeking a Pharmacist to join our independant pharmacy in Saskatoon. This role includes all dispensing activities to serve a community based pharmacy with long standing relationships with our patients. We are hiring 1 position approximately 24 hours/week. Our dispensary is open 9am-9pm Monday-Friday and 9am-5pm on Saturdays and Sundays, and closed all statutory holidays.
Responsibilities include:
- Dispensing, including reviewing and interpreting physician orders, detecting drug interactions, packaging and labelling medication, controlling and monitoring drug therapies, and reporting adverse effects or events, inventory management, compliance packaging, assisting patients with OTC advice.
- Communicate with patients, healthcare providers, and payers clearly and effectively;
- Exemplary patient centered care in all interactions
- Patient care management, phone and in person
Requirements
- Licensed to practice pharmacy in Saskatchewan
- 1+ years’ experience as a pharmacist in Canada
- Above average communication and relationship building skills are required
- General computer proficiency and competence
- Proven ability to solve problems and make decisions using critical thinking
- Demonstrated effective time management and organizational skills
- High attention to detail within a fast paced environment
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 - 32 per week
Salary: $47.00-$50.00 per hour
