Payroll & Accounting Clerk Job at CCT Auto-Trans Inc.
CCT Auto-Trans Inc. is looking for an experienced payroll and accounting clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years experience in payroll and accounting. Knowledge of the transportation industry an asset but not required.
Skills required:
- Experience working with accounting software
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to take direction and know when to ask the right questions to complete a task
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, high pressure environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to customer service and confidentiality
RESPONSIBILITIES | Day to Day tasks
- Processing weekly payroll salary, hourly, and piece work employees
- Setting up new hires in all systems
- Benefits administration
- RRSP Administration
- Calculating and submitting source deductions to CRA
- Calculating and submitting EHT
- Calculating and submitting WSIB
- Entering expenses
- Wire transfers
- EFT payments
- Running manual cheques
- Intercompany accounting across multiple companies
- Month and year end procedures
- Photocopying, scanning, and filing as required
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
