We are offering a position of a Full-time Automotive Parts Advisor to join the Parts Team at Morrey Nissan Infiniti of Burnaby. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service in the sales and advising of vehicle parts, repair components, wholesaling to repair shops, body shop, over the counter sales, and to the technician and service team at the dealership. ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide excellent customer service to walk-ins and wholesale customers both over the counter and phone to provide price quotes and other information related to vehicle repair
• Be familiar with the process of ordering and arranging parts and setting up delivery as required.
• Accurately record transactions and data into DMS – attention to detail critical
• Maintain systemized storage facilities ensuring proper security for parts and tools
• Maintain a comprehensive record system on parts, tools, issuing accounts, and analysis records for quality control and warranty
• Take periodic parts room inventory and establish minimum supply levels. Advise Parts Manager of obsolete parts for turn-in
• Issue parts as required / requested by technicians /staff requisitions
• Assist in all aspects of promoting accessories and parts sales to create greater sales, gross profit and CSI with all clients
• This position will be expected to perform other duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a dealership Parts Department is an asset.
• Working knowledge of vehicle components and basic parts knowledge is required.
• CDK experience an asset
• Customer service focused attitude
• Exceptional verbal and listening skills
• Ability to multitask with exceptional detail and accuracy
• Ability to excel in a fast paced, team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $45,000.00 per year
