Overnight Smokehouse Operator Job at Leadbetter Foods
Leadbetter is currently looking for a Smokehouse Operator for our 8:00pm - 4:30am night shift. The position itself requires you to run the smokehouse and chillers (freezers).
Responsibilities
- filing out HACCP documents and other paperwork as required
- monitoring temperatures
- cleaning smoke generators and light cleaning around smokehouse area
- full cleaning using specialized cleaner equipment (will train)
- moving racks of meat from smoker to freezer
- computer work and label printing
Requirements
- Self starter
- RELIABLE, Attendance Focused individual
- ability to work alone
- computer knowledge
- knowledge of working with Smokehouses an asset
Occasional Saturday's may be requested.
