Onshore Production Team Lead to join our team. As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Client Service Delivery team within Aon. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from or Toronto Offices.

What the day will look like
This function is responsible for quality control and continuous improvement for Aon Client Services. The selected candidate will implement operational/technical work under general guidance for the National Data, Quality and Escalation team, to achieve results such as:
- Identify and support key processes improvements to be implemented within Aon Client Services
- Develops, analyze and reports critical important metrics, performing analyses, developing/ producing / critical reports, plans and/or outputs
- Implement standard processes, best practices and tools/systems that increase the efficiency of information exchanges among processes, clients, and strategic industry partners
- Develop and implement quality control standards and protocol
- As a People Manager, manages a unit (complexity/ risk/impact):
- managing employees performing specialized work or diverse work to achieve results
- providing oversight to deliver results in line with the unit’s goals
- overseeing quality assurance within the unit and adherence to procedures and policies
- operationalizing portfolio-wide strategic goals
- Successfully supports and markets vision to key partners with organization, including members of Canadian leadership team
- Resolves issues with impact on client relationships (external/ internal), client operations or technical methodology
- Develops conclusions from analysis and applies results to business operations
- May provide input into budget decisions; may forecast upcoming client work; makes medium cost expenditures within prescribed parameter
- Provides significant input into technical / technological decisions for the unit and business plan
- Large scope/impact decisions; work has high risk to unit’s mid-term to long term results
- Develops and manages collaborative relationships/ networking with multiple-level internal contacts across units or potentially the portfolio to:

- advise and build positive support on critical issues/ solutions related to area of expertise
- influentially negotiate/ promote resources to achieve mutually desired results
- Develops and manages collaborative relationships with mid to senior-level external stakeholders to:
- advise on issues; and negotiate critical deliverables and contracts
- investigate and address short- and mid-term needs, and translates needs into results
- participate in client sales meetings as the subject matter expert and/or advocate with carriers on behalf of clients’ ad influence significant outcomes
- Provide input into performance evaluations of work team and as a manager, conducts performance reviews of direct subordinates and provides input into selection of new hires and/or terminations
- Coach/Mentor/Role Model to junior levels;
How this opportunity is different
This in an opportunity to work directly with business leaders, and account team across the firm, and have the ability to impact the way we deliver our service to clients. As a team leader you will work with a team of experts spread out across Canada and supported by a offshore production resource team to deliver timely and accurate outputs. As a process owner you will work directly with ABS leaders to improve and enhance the intake, production, and delivery aspect of the certificate process.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Strong knowledge of and experience in commercial risk insurance programs, structure, management and administration.
- Proven effective supervisory and leadership skills in being flexible, creative, team-oriented and process-driven.
- Ability to identify and analyze organizational needs with solid problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
- Holds appropriate provincial licensing
