Schedule:

• 12-hour shifts
• 4 days on, 4 days off rotating schedule
• 48 hours per week
• Daily overtime

Wage:

• $19.64/hour regular pay
• $29.46/hour overtime daily

What you will bring:

• Valid BC Security License
• Valid BC Class 5/4/1 Driver's License
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Previous Security experience is an asset.
• Must have access to own personal vehicle
• Clean driving abstract and claims history
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
• Ability to pass a-Fit to work test (50lbs)
• Must be able to work in an outside environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer service
• Ability to read and write descriptive and factual reports in the English language

What you'll do:

• Provide perimeter security coverage via Foot Patrols and Mobile Patrols in an outdoor environment to ensure protection of the sites.
• Provide gate access control to ensure there is no unauthorized access to the site with a focus on providing excellent customer service
• Provide a visual security presence outside - detecting and deterring unauthorized persons
• Observe and evaluate risk factors and prevent potential hazards
• Utilizing state of the art safety technology such as: TrackTik, iPads, Digital Mobile Radio & two-way radio, handheld scanners, Cell Phones
• Report safety concerns, security breaches and unusual circumstances both Via TrackTik and in writing on a notepad
• Coordinating and liaising with the police or emergency personnel when required
