Who we are
We invite you to join the Parlee Beach Provincial Park team! One of the most beautiful beaches in North America with the warmest salt water in Canada, Parlee Beach also holds international Blue Flag certification. The campground is located on well-developed grounds with over 210 sites.
What you will do
Reporting to the Parlee Beach Provincial Park Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible to provide administrative support to park management. The duties and responsibilities include:
- Supervising employees, providing orientation and training, and participating in the performance review process
- Providing supervision and support related to the budget, including preparation and submission of documents for payments to suppliers; preparation of quarterly reports on the park's budget situation and budget forecasts; updating of revenue and expense reports for the operating budget and the capital budget
- Preparing documents and managing human resources information including personnel files, time sheets, staff hiring requests, and payroll records
- Acting as liaison with human resources with respect to employment programs and all employee information requests
- Performing other related duties assigned by the Park Manager
Work Environment
- Office location: Parlee Beach Provincial Park administration office
- Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 8:15 to 4:30

You must be a team player who works with attention to detail and possess strong interpersonal, communication skills and are self-motivated.
Your attitude, skills and interests are just as important as your area of study. We are looking for diverse backgrounds that bring a combination of the following:
Need to have
- A post-secondary diploma of one (1) year in a related field
- A minimum of four (4) years of related experience
- Some supervisory experience
- Proficiency in working with Microsoft Office Suite and Oracle applications
- An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered
- Written and spoken competence in English and French is required
Nice to have
- Knowledge of the Online NB Parks Reservation Service System
- Ability to use office technology, software, and applications, such as Oracle
- Knowledge of Accounting and Financial Principles
Wage
$1,780.00 to $2,162.00 bi-weekly
