The job entails computer skills, spreadsheets, organizing, bookkeeping, and also assisting the director and HR. The days are busy and the work although consistent is also somewhat varied by day. The ideal candidate with have an easy going personality, exceptional customer service, strong organizational skills and takes pride in their job role running smoothly. Job Duties:

  • Telephone registrations and customer service.
  • Assisting the Director as needed
  • Assisting human resources as needed
  • Assisting accounting as needed in Quickbooks (will train) - invoicing, coding receipts, entering and paying bills.
  • Ensuring health and Safety protocols are at the highest possible standard

Required skills:

  • Quickbooks is an asset but not required- will train.
  • Strong skills with Excel and Word
  • Indesign is an asset but not required (will train)
  • High degree of accuracy.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi task.
  • Friendly, supportive, and professional attitude.
  • Skilled in problem solving and critical thinking.
  • VERY tidy and organized. This is a vital skill in this position to keep paperwork in order.
  • Low level of absenteeism/lateness in past employment
  • Able to work independently
  • High level of written and spoken English
  • Good computer/internet skills.
  • Driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a police and child welfare screening check.
  • Positive attitude to adhering to Covid-19 protocols and our H&S program.
  • Physically able to lift, push, and pull 25 lbs (a box of paper/files).
  • Able to reach over your head to a shelf and reach to the ground to set items down.
  • 40+ WPM minimum

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $21.50-$24.50 per hour

  • Office: 3 years (required)
  • Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
