Full Job Description

We are looking for an OT for a part time, casual basis to start. We have in home patients that require OT services and is looking for some one who is willing to travel to see the patients.

Responsibilities

• Assess client needs, plan programs, treatment intervention and evaluation in the occupational performance areas of self-care, productivity and leisure including cognition and community living skills.
• Prescribe aids and assistive devices. The OT will either be an ADP Authorizer or will be prepared to become a registered ADP authorizer.
• Participate in program planning and development in professional initiatives supporting quality management and research.
• Treatment planning including oversight of an Occupational Therapy Assistant
• Demonstrate understanding of, compliance with, and commitment to, patient safety responsibilities and corresponding plans, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients.

Are you qualified?

• Baccalaureate or Master's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program.
• Member in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO).
• Experience in a Rehabilitation setting an asset.
• Experience with discharge planning
• Assistive Devices Program Authorizer an asset
• Demonstrated expertise with medical, orthopedic, geriatric and neurological conditions.

Job Types: Casual, Freelance

Salary: $25.00-$70.00 per hour
