Our thriving business requires additional Technicians to work in the field of Commercial Kitchen Exhaust services. We are looking for reliable, responsible, and dedicated people with a strong work ethic who seeks long term secure employment.
Job Description:
Cleaning, inspecting and servicing of commercial kitchen exhaust systems to meet NFPA96 fire code.
We offer:
Paid training shifts at $20 per hour for three months
A garaunteed raise after three months, and a hiring bonus!
Eligibility for performance bonuses upon completion of training and demonstrated good work performance after 3 months of employment
$60 per day Meal Allowance for jobs that require overnight stays (some jobs are out of town and require 2-3 days stays). Accommodations provided by the company.
Will pay for any required courses (WHIMIS, First Aid, Ladder Safety, etc).
Room for advancement: Lead hands are needed. Possibility for substantial pay increases. Training required for suitable candidates.
Requirements:
Must be reliable, accountable, and punctual.
Must possess excellent work ethics, take pride in your work, be able to think outside of the box to troubleshoot, work independantly and trouble shoot.
Must be able to work 8-12 hour shift
Must be safety conscious and able to be aware of surroundings at all times to identify potential hazards
Must be able to work night shift (graveyard shift).
Must be comfortable with heights, ladder climbing, small spaces, and roof work in all types of weather,
Must have a valid Drivers License
Must have reliable transport to get to and from Lantzville as Transit does not correspond with our work schedules.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Any experience with the mechanics of or servicing Kitchen Exhaust systems, pressure washers, and/or trade services would be an asset.
