We are currently seeking a Meditech Expanse Project Lead reporting to the President & CEO, assuming a leadership role in the hospital.

Job Status: Temporary, Full Time

Hours of Work: 35 hours per week

Salary Range: $ 80,000 – 84,070.50

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in all relevant ONE work groups ensuring continuity of best practice throughout the system design
• Collaborate with subject matter experts in all in-scope departments to document current state workflow maps
• Collaborate with the ONE regional change management lead on future state workflow maps and local gap analysis.
• Document, and track change management tasks related to local gaps in clinical practice
• Assist with any clinical training plans as needed
• Facilitate the completion of local project plans and milestones
• Identify and recommend process improvements to gain efficiencies and effective system integration
• Be a spokesperson for the project, using effective communication strategies and tactics
• Act as a resource to the clinical informatics and information systems team when needed for testing
• Assist with staff training roll out plan and facilitation

Qualifications

• Postsecondary education in a related field required.
• Three to five years’ experience in a hospital environment, preferably in a clinical or IT role.
• Relevant project leadership experience, Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
• Demonstrated end-user experience with Meditech clinical applications, PACS, Dictation, and reporting systems.
• High emotional intelligence with excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex issues to a broad audience.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively with all members of the team and maintain strong and healthy relationships within the organization
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion in all matters
• Ability to organize workload demands and to establish priorities
• Critical thinking skills and ability to apply best practice principles
• Ability to perform duties in a professional and respectful manner
• Supports and promotes a culture of safety for staff and patients
• Excellent attendance record
• Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset
• Up-to-date immunizations required, including COVID-19.
