The company has an opening for a Mechanical Assembler

Dayshift 7:00 to 3:30, Monday to Friday. Overtime available.

This is an interesting position for a capable mechanically minded person.

Mechanical Assembler Responsibilities:

· The mechanical assembler will assemble, fit and install prefabricated parts to form subassemblies of industrial machinery

· Assemble components according to drawings while ensuring bill of material accuracy

· Responsible for visual inspections of material before and after assembly by conducting inspection for conformance to drawings and specifications, functional operation and appearance. Perform mechanical adjustments as needed.

· Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas

· Other duties as assigned by Manager

· Some heavy lifting required

Experience:

- Operational knowledge of Dimensional Measuring Tools and Instruments

- Crane operation and Forklift experience

- Must be focused on providing a high-quality product

- Have your own Hand-tools

- Good working knowledge of HS practices including safe workplace conduct, safe material handling procedures, safe operation of machinery, and personal protective equipment.

Qualifications:

- WHMIS Certification

- Forklift Certification

- Clean Drivers Abstract

- Minimum Grade 12 completion.
