Integris is searching for a permanent, full-time Manager, Desktop & Application Delivery. This role will work out of our Corporate Office in Prince George, BC or for the ideal candidate, we would consider a remote role within our operating region .This would be a great role for a Helpdesk specialist or Junior Leader wanting to move into a Managerial role.
Acting as a subject matter expert in the VMWare Horizon Infrastructure, the Manager, Desktop & Application Delivery leads the Helpdesk team to ensure delivery of excellent service to meet the unique needs of Integris end-users. The successful candidate will be committed to proactively building relationships with end-users to understand user expectations. Also, as the Tier 3 Helpdesk technician, this role will manage issues to resolution while providing leadership to their direct reports.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage desktop support, Helpdesk, and VMWare support functions
- Maintain high performance level for service-related processes and implement improvement activities
- Accountable for service delivery performance and meeting end-user expectations
- Oversee day-to-day performance and work of direct reports
- Mentor and lead a team of IT Professionals, while fostering a culture of life-long learning and development
- Proactively build relationships with end users to understand users needs and expectations
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of Helpdesk experience
- 2+ years of supervisory or leadership role
- Post-secondary education focused in Information Technology
- VMWare Professional Certification is considered an asset; or,
- An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Salary: $75,000.00-$88,000.00 per year

- VMWare Horizon: 3 years (preferred)
