Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Maintenance Person on a permanent full-time basis at our Feed Plant in Moosomin, SK.

What you’ll do:

You will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs to Feed Plant equipment, buildings and grounds. Please note that shift work may be required, and emergency call backs are expected.

• You will carry out day-to-day Feed Plant Preventative maintenance program and documentation.
• You will adhere to and enforce FCL’s Safety Management System.
• Arrange with Plant Supervisor for equipment shutdown as deemed necessary.
• You will make routine purchases of repair material.
• You will assist in the planning and co-ordination of and perform construction and maintenance work associated with major repairs and maintenance or new capital projects.
• You will arrange for or perform general maintenance work.
• You will ensure the shop is well organized and clean.
• You will perform other duties as assigned.

Our Agro team helps to feed and grow Western Canadian communities by sourcing and distributing products and services to local Co-ops in the feed, crop supplies and fertilizer business.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Production, Trades and Maintenance and:

• You have a high school education (or equivalent).
• You have a Journeyman status in Industrial Mechanics or similar mechanical trade.
• You have a minimum of three years of related mechanical experience.
• You have or willing to obtain a Fireman's Certificate for a boiler.
• You must be able to organize and operate a preventative maintenance program.
• You’re honest and trustworthy, are results oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
• You believe in collaboration, building relationships and value the perspectives of others.
