12 hour continental swing shifts

Large essential service provider in Burlington, ON seeking manufacturers and general labourers
Up to $24+/hour
12 hour continental swing shifts

Responsibilities:
- Set-up, disassemble old set-up, operate and troubleshoot
- Build cores and components as per customer requirements
- Perform and document daily safety inspections of equipment
- Operate ancillary equipment
- Start and shut down furnace
- Operate machinery that cuts steel coils to length
- General labour duties as required
- Cross training in different sections and departments
Requirements:
- Mechanically inclined, previous manufacturing environment (steel industry or auto experience)
- Troubleshooting skills
- Ability to use and read measuring tools (tape measure, vernier calipers or micrometers)
- Lifting 20 – 50 lbs – lots of movement
- Experience with machine operating required - Slitter machine an asset
