For 6 months (November 2022 to May 2023), the candidate will represent ADF for a project in the United States. The candidate will complete reports and do a follow up daily with the Terrebonne team.

The candidate will then return to our project management team in Terrebonne and pursue his career as a project manager.

The project manager will:

• Examine the project specifications, clarify requirements, and resolve ambiguities, if applicable
• Ensure that complex projects are executed as requested
• Coordinate steel fabrication with the production department
• Establish a fabrication sequence
• Coordinate Steel deliveries according to the clients demands
• Participate and coordinate periodically billing according to established contractual clauses
• Prepare, maintain, and revise the project calendar
• Ensure follow-up for fabrication blueprints according to client’s requests and project calendar
• Any other related duties as instructed

Experience and education

• Have a completed a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and/or Construction Engineering
• 0 to 6 months of relevant experience

Required knowledge

Languages spoken and written: French and English (bilingual)

IT and software: Ability to master Microsoft Office and MS Project (asset);

Technical skills: Able to read construction plans (asset)
