The Prolium Group is currently seeking a motivated Junior Project Engineer to join our team of professionals based out of Airdrie, AB. Prolium Industries Ltd is a fast-emerging Oil & Gas service company that specializes in the repairs of Above Ground Storage Tanks. Our Operations team is currently working on projects located across the country from British Columbia to Newfoundland, with Alberta being the core of our operation. Key Responsibilities

• Assisting Project Manager and/or Project Engineer with procurement, cost tracking, design, and project management of above ground storage tank repairs
• Compiling of technical documents including designs
• Interpretation of engineered drawings to develop an MTO
• Procurement and shipping of shop fabrication and field repair material
• Coordinate of third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects

• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs
• Report and escalate to management as needed
• Assist with managing the relationship with the client
• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors
• Create and maintain project documentation
• The position may require some travel to various locations across Canada to provide oversight and audit construction work packages throughout the completion of work.

Job Requirements

• 1+ years experience in the Construction / Oil & Gas industry
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Flexible and able to meet objectives while working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and strict deadlines
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written, skills and the ability to communicate clearly and respectfully
• The ability and discipline to consistently meet deadlines
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• Knowledge of welding procedures (preferred)
• Knowledge of Quality Programs (an asset)
• Project Management experience (an asset)
• Experience with storage tank repair is an asset
• Experience with Inventor and 3D modeling is an asset
• Valid class 5 drivers’ licence

Qualifications

• Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) with eligibility and desire for registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) Designation with APEGA after completion of work experience or,
• Technologist in Training (T.T) with eligibility and desire for registration as a Certified Engineering Technologist (C.E.T) with ASET
