- Summary:
Support individual with first aid wound care and assist with cueing/ prompting for toileting/ hygiene. Needs to be comfortable with swimming with individual. Transport individual to meet with peers, community access, etc. Flexibility is required.
- Qualifications:
Diploma in Rehabilitation and/or related education (preferred).
Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. Experience providing personal care and behavioral supports required.
A clear criminal record check including the vulnerable sector is required.
Emergency First Aid/CPR, APRP, PBS, SIVA and Medication Administration certifications are required or must be obtained within 90 days, training provided through agency or provide your current certification
Reliable vehicle, class 5 driver’s license, clean drivers abstract, and $2,000,000 liability required.
- Salary:
Due to anticipated rate increases the anticipated wage for this position is $19.75 to $24.27. Rates reflect permanent increase of wage enhancement by the Government of Alberta effective April 1, 2023
