NexSource Power Inc. is looking for highly motivated Journeyman and Apprentice Instrumentation & Controls Technicians at our Grande Prairie Branch. NexSource is a privately-owned business with a focus on continuing to build a relevant, dynamic company that provides industry leading value to our current and future customers.

The successful candidate should have:

• Experience in a maintenance, construction and troubleshooting background in the Oil & Gas
• All industry required safety tickets including: First Aid/CPR, H2S (Enform/Energy Safety Canada), CSTS (ACSA), CSO (Energy Safety Canada)
• Ability to work flexible schedules: shift work, overtime, and weekends
• An excellent attitude
• Ability to work independently and cohesively within groups
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Professionalism and a very strong customer service focus
• A valid driver’s license and an excellent abstract

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Install, repair and troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation and control equipment in the industrial Oil & Gas sector
• Use pneumatic, electrical and electronic testing devices and precision measuring instruments to inspect and test operation of instruments and systems to diagnose faults
• Perform installation/calibration of process control instrumentation such as transmitters, controllers, analyzers and control valves
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, and complete test and maintenance reports
• Other duties as assigned
