Bird Nason Contracting Group is currently seeking applications for experienced Journeyman or Apprentice Electricians for a project near Vanderhoof B.C. with an anticipated start date of May 2023.
Anticipated Start Date: May 2023
Project: Blackwater Gold - Construction of a gold mine crushing circuit and processing circuit
Location: Near Vanderhoof, BC
Schedule: 14 days on, 7 days off, 10 hour per day
Wage: $47.35 per hour as per collective agreement
Benefits and RRSP Provided as per collective agreement
Camp Provided
Travel Available if Applicable
The successful candidate should possess the following skills and attributes:
  • Operation of test equipment
  • Cable pulling and termination
  • Cable tray installation
  • Conduit installation
  • General electrical equipment installation
  • Distribution equipment installation and connection
  • Follow safety practices for personal protection, protection of fellow workers and the protection of the public in accordance with the company safety manual.
  • Understand and implement personal and company safety by adhering to all safety requirements.
  • Ability review blueprints, drawings and other specification papers
Experience Required:
  • To be considered for this position you must be a registered Journeyman in the trade of Electrician
  • Light Industrial, Safety Conscious, Quality Minded and Reliable steady worker
  • CSTS-09
  • WHMIS 2015
  • Valid Class 5 license
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions, able to interpret drawings, bill of materials and various other specifications
