Enghouse is looking for an entry-level IT professional to work in our Markham, Ontario office as IT HelpDesk Support. Under the direction of the IT operations manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our Enghouse team!

What you will be doing

In this role you will be responsible for recording, tracking, and documenting help desk requests, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken, through to the final resolution. When trends are spotted you will take the initiative to make recommendations to reduce support incidents and create smoother processes for our employees.

• 
  Apply diagnostic utilities to aid troubleshooting for proper problem resolution for all our products both hardware and software.

• Provide support for software updates, drivers, knowledge bases, and frequently asked questions

• Installs and provides routine maintenance on end users’ PCs/Laptops, printers, software, and peripherals.

• Troubleshoots equipment problems and place service calls with the appropriate maintenance vendors when necessary. Coordinates outside vendor support for desktop and laptop computers.

• Assists with the orientation of new employees in appropriate IT procedures and/or helping them get started with the applicable computerized systems.

What you bring:

• Possessing a strong customer satisfaction attitude with the ability to train both inexperienced & experienced users in the use of technology will be key for this position.

• The ability to effectively communicate in English both in writing and orally with all levels of internal users, including executive management, will make you a champion.

• Solid working knowledge of the following will be your best asset:

• Microsoft Windows operating system and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Solid working knowledge working with PC/Laptop hardware

• Operating system technical skills for Windows 10 desktop and above.
