Job Details:

UPS is currently looking for Part-Time and Permanent Warehouse Associates (Package Handlers*) at our Calgary location starting at $17.80¹per hour (bonus included) with top rates of above $28.00¹per hour.

Work days: Sunday - Thursday **Please note that on Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday the sort will run past 4pm.
Scheduled Shift: 12PM Start *Must be available to start at least 30 mins prior to 12*

*Package Handlers will be required to work five days a week with some variations in shift hours. Shift hours will slightly vary due to the changes in package volume and operational needs.

Package Handlers are responsible for the loading, unloading, sorting, and scanning of packages in the center.

Required Skills:

• Ability to follow set procedures
• Able to and comfortable regularly lifting up to 70-lbs (32-kg) unassisted
• Able to work with automated conveyor belts and manual rollers
• Comfortable working inside container trailers, delivery trucks or similar equipment
• Good organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding and temperature changing warehouse environment
• Must be able to work with and recognize postal codes, routing charts and maps
